THE SUPER ADVENTURE OF FLOURIO

Flourio ? Simply means Mario+FlourSack.

This is my advanced animation course’s project, we build a floursack, rig it, plan a story for it.

So as the title suggest the animation was based on SuperMario.

Hope you enjoy it. ^^

The biggest artwork i done in my entire life.

It is a Calligraphy class final project. We design our own font, than build something related the the font’s concept.

My font was based on electronic and electricity (typical me..). So… there are 2 version of my sculpture, 1 for the presentation, another was improved version for gallery display.

The 1st version

The whole thing nearly as large as 1m X 1m X 1m.

SO the concept is: The mechanize dragon represent the dynamic flow of electric inside a circuit. The inner “wall” represent the “highway” which filled with flowing electric.(apology if my word used seems wrong).

The dragon feature glowing light on its eye and body. But i don’t have the photo with me.

The 2nd version

These photos was taken from the academy gallery. An improved version from the 1st 1.

concept: Same’o dragon, but the glowing city replaced the innerwall thingy.

Some work in progress:

The unfinish city, the buildings was made from paper and the glowing base was actually a custom lightbox.

3D letters in progress, letter itself was made from styrene plastic( aka Pla-plate for model customization), and then finished with a coat of silver spray paint.

HGUC 1/144 GP03 STAMEN

My 1st even HGUC kit, it surprise me that the level of details can rival with MG kit.

But the articulation still typical HG standard.

Conclusion : Miniature version MG without internal frame and good articulation.

Character design and 3d model of it.

Inspired by ironman, terminator, and Bruce Willie

CONCEPT:

The character's a cyborg ( half human half machine), he's a living human with artificial arm and lower body part. He's bearing a magnetic driven rail gun supported by a hydraulic arm which attached to his back. His mechanical part feature opening hatch which will reveal internal machinery, also serve as a maintain hatch or heat releasing purpose. The light-up phenomena of the mechanical part was a side effect cause by the accelerated output power in every joint part, hence enhance the character's overall physical performance.

The BGM was from Transformer OST, go get the album guys it is freakin cool !

Here's my old Tamiya work, the japanese warship Yamato.
I purchase this few YEARs ago, the time i purchase it i havent get myself an airbrush, so i just brought home and straight away build with superglue...how terror.
Few year later i had learned some modeling skills and i plan to restore it.

Can say that it is the starter kit for my modeling path

Guess this is something worth sharing of, my 3d modeling exterior project work.
Based on the huge castle design from The Lord of the Ring: The Return of the King( Minith Tirith... not sure how it spell ).Of course what u about to see was a "miniature" version of the design, i m not skilled enough to model the WHOLE lord of the ring castle.
We required to model a building and compose it on a real-life photo background, i was just too lucky to found a photo of a cliff which fits my castle perfectly.
The model was built using NURBS and some basic texture projection.

This is my MG strike freedom, a kit i purchase 1 year ago and sitting in my closet collecting dust.. until recent holiday i was free enough to work on it.

A out-of-box work, nothing special except added some decal and custom paint job.
The area i quite happy was the gold color i mixed for its internal or joint part. I used Tamiya Gold leaf + Tamiya Chrome silver for the mixture, it turn out better than i though.

It is a nice kit, especially those internal details, too bad they all covered up by those armor.

Gundam Exia BLACK FALCON ( BACUC challenge 2008 entry)

Ha , here's my entry for the Malaysia BAKUC end year challenge 2008.
Was my 1st attempt to join the competition.
The base kit was BANDAI 1/100 NG gundam exia.
I modified the skirt armor, torso, machine gun, and shoulder armor. The rest just added detail and the "wing" was kit-bash from another gundam. (it was the cannon from 1/144 blast impulse gundam)

For long time i always wanted to do a gundam with bling bling silver color scheme. So the competition was a good chance to pull it off.
Although i didnt win anything but i guess it is still a good start haaha

Now preparing for the next year's challenge, still choosing which gundam to do.

Here's my robot design from Drawing for Animation,

This guy was named "AM4-0 VULCANIZER" , the AM4 means " All-terrain multi-purpose quadruped model 0" ( AM= All Terrain multi-purpose , 4=quadruped)..... if u confused... in other word it means FOUR-LEGGED-GUY-WHO-CAN-WALK-ON-ANY SURFACE . clear enough?

Actually this robot was inspired from the T-REX, since my lect demand "unique-ness" so the design evolved into 4-legged.
